I am interested in hearing what others think of the Sweet Collect Program.
I recently posted a negative reply to their new Platinum deal and stated my thoughts on the unfairness of this program to other members who do not meet the specific criteria and would undoubtably be pushed further back in the queue waiting for their packages to be sent. These members, including myself have been waiting many, many months for their package of sweets and the new deal would make their wait even longer, while the new platinum members advanced in the queue with the promise of dispatch within 7 days once they have 25 sweets or more in their account!
I was in queue position number "1" for approx 4 weeks, then I dropped back down to number 36, I was rather ticked off and felt I had to say what I felt about it. I wasn't rude about it, just truthful and I also stated I would not refer them any more as they were becoming more unreliable.

Not surprisingly my post was removed and I received a PM from the moderator who removed it (I should have made a copy of the post to put here) I didn't bad mouth them as such, merely stated my opinion which was not only the truth but also a fact.
This is the PM I received:

Please refrain from badmouthing Sc, if you can't say anything good please don't say anything at all. Also i have removed your post.
Thanks Sxxxxx (name removed)

I have been with this program since 2005 and have not received one package, since my post yesterday I have received an email from Wendy informing me my package has been moved back up the queue and will be dispatched within 48 hours.
I once made the suggestion they remove the section stating queue position and estimated dispatch date from the website to avoid any backlash from members who see themselves moving up in the queue and then moving back down the queue, further back than they were before!
After reading about the new platinum deal and seeing I had moved from queue position 1 back down to 36, a negative post was required to bring attention to the unfairness of this new program.
Management should get the current packages that are well overdue, dispatched asap if they expect the majority of members who have been waiting months on end for packages, to take this program seriously.
I have many members who I promote programs to, including this one and any program that does not deliver promised rewards within a reasonable time is removed from my members area.
I will hold off to see how much longer I am expected to wait for my package and if it is indeed dispatched within 48 hours. If I see that it is not and I have moved back in the queue again, then this program will be removed and I will post it as a company to avoid in my members area and a corresponding topic will be posted in my sites forum.
I have not received a response from this moderator and I do not expect to.
I checked my SC account and lo and behold my package is awaiting dispatch!
I still felt it rated a mention as no action would have been taken by this company to please me if I had not made my intentions clear!

It takes a long time to earn those sweets and even longer to reach the number one position, then it takes an eternity to actually receive the package, pity the sweets didn't take that long to consume!!!
It's not a program I take very seriously, I only click on the links in their emails if I've got nothing better to do! As far as your post on their forum goes, they just don't like constructive critisism, at least you managed to put the wind up them, now to see how long it takes to actually have your parcel dispatched and delivered!
Update us when it does arrive...

I hope this has helped with your enquiry.

That was 14 days ago!

OK, I finally received my package! and I can honestly say it wasn't worth the wait!
I fail to see why other people get so excited to receive a bag of lollies/candies when in all honesty it is much quicker and more fun to go to the local shop or milkbar and choose your own lollies and it's not like they are an expensive treat or anything, truely, am I missing something here or is the sweet collect program just a cheap farce!
I will be removing all information and links to this program from the database as I can only view it as a blatant rip off in regards to people's time and intelligence. This company is obviously getting paid decent commissions from advertisers for referring their members to the advertisers opportunities and for completing surveys etc yet they are paying their members in peanuts for completing the offers and apart from that "their customer service sucks" their indicated 48 hours for dispatch turned out to be 6 weeks! and that was on top of the initial 12 months or so that I'd already been waiting...
I will not deal with this company anymore and I will not refer anyone to them!

Took their sweet time!
sorrrryy, couldn't resist!
so have the kids eaten them all yet?
I just love your honesty with this kind of information, it's invaluable.
I'm sure there is alot of people out there that have nothing better to do than waste their time on companies such as sc and fill themselves full of junk, especially in today's world where obesity is on the rise and diabetes, particularly in young children and they're actually promoting sweets to people, so they're not helping to combat the problems at all. Honestly, can't they think of other more beneficial incentives???
All the best to you Ros

You are such a funny gal Michele
believe it or not there are still a few pixie sticks left! I can guarantee they won't last much longer tho.
I have to agree with you 100% about the obesity and diabetes issues, guess it's just too easy for them to give away sweets then to think of something worthwhile to offer their members...damn shame I reckon...shame on them!
As always Michele, thanks for your input

I joined SC very early on and did receive some 'sweets' when I first accumulated enough points and they arrived very quickly.
Also so did various spam emails offers that I definitely did not sign up for.
From then on it went downhill with every request for another sugar 'fix' being ignored. Finally I decided that I'd had enough and attempted to unsubscribe, that was a waste of time also as all requests were also ignored and the spam was continuing.
Finally having had enough I sent an email which would have caught fire if they'd attempted to print it letting them know that I had several relations in England (where they were based) who were interested in calling around for a friendly chat and to please advise what day and time was available.
Haven't heard a word or received an email since.
SC have also been mentioned on several other forums regarding their spamming methods, not sending lollies, and ignoring communications.

They've actually taken on promoting a weight loss company in their latest lot of offers! Ya just gotta laugh about that!

I nearly wet myself ROFPMSL at that thought, obviously the weight loss company have no principles.
That's the equivalent of John Howard joining a Union.
