"THE SIMPLE TRUTH - ABOUT ME"
I am not a self proclaimed "Internet Guru", nor do I make thousands of dollars a week
from any programs that I participate in. I am a 41 year old stay at
home mother of three children, my husband is a shift worker and a
regular guy who earns a middle class income which quite honestly
is barely enough to get a family of five from one pay day to the next,
yet it is an honest, regular income which he works hard for. I
found myself in the position where I had one older child in High
School and two younger children still at home, I wanted to
contribute to the family income, but due to my husbands rotating shift
work I couldn't find a part-time job that was suitable and
putting the two younger children in day care would cost more than
I would possibly earn on part-time wages, so I gave up on the
idea of finding a regular job. But I didn't give up completely,
instead I changed my focus and came up with another idea.
I started searching the Internet for job opportunities, in the
meantime, I began by buying
merchandise and selling it through online auctions, this was
great for a while but I started running out of space to store all
of the merchandise, then the selling fees started to increase and
I would have to increase my prices, in the end it wasn't really worth
it to me to sell pre-purchased merchandise online anymore. So I
moved onto dropshipping where I would sell merchandise from other
companies, customers would purchase the merchandise from me at a
marked up price, but still cheaper than retail, I would then order and
pay for it with the customers money, keeping a small profit for
myself, the company would then deliver it straight to the
customer, this was really good because I never had to handle any
stock, but there was a downside. If the merchandise didn't arrive
in a timely manner or something happened to the company where the
merchandise came from then I would have to chase it up and it
could be a time consuming process getting back to the customer with an
answer or a solution. I still sell merchandise through
dropshipping but it isn't my primary source of income and I don't
put alot of time into it anymore.
At the same time as selling merchandise online I was also
participating in MLM or affiliate programs, promoting other
people's business opportunities and making a small residual
income by referring other people to these opportunities, some of
these programs are great and I still participate and earn money
from them, but, they are not my main source of income either!
